A decadent ice-cream that’s full of the nice stuff. It’s made with wholesome, natural ingredients, is vegan and comes together in minutes. The best part is you don’t need any fancy equipment or expensive ingredients.
Ingredients:
4 large very ripe bananas
2 tbsp cocoa powder
A handful of salted potato chips
How to:
Peel the bananas, slice them and put them in a container in the freezer for a minimum of eight hours, and up to three months.
Using a powerful food processor or blender, process the frozen bananas with cocoa powder. Transfer to a container and freeze again for about an hour to firm up more. Optionally, you can eat it right away. It will have a beautiful soft-serve consistency. Once blended, avoid re-freezing for more than two hours or it will be too hard. You will need to thaw the blended ice cream before eating.
Toppings and mix-ins take this ice cream to the next level. I love stirring in some gently crushed salted potato chips for that essential crunch and hint of salt.
